Thanks for visiting the Students of Shiloh Blog. If you are new to blogging, I thought I would share a few tips that may help you as you navigate around the blog.
Main Page
The main page contains the most recent posts (from top to bottom). As I add content, it will appear here.
Categories
When I create a new post, I assign it to a category (Daily Reading, Tough Questions etc). If you wish to only view a certain category, click on that category on the right side of the page under the “Categories” section.
Avatars
If you wish to use an avatar, you will need to go to www.wordpress.com and click on the Sign Up link. Complete the registration info and at the bottom select, “Username only”. Once you are logged in, put your mouse over the “My Account” section at the top of your browser and select “Edit Profile”. From there, you can upload a photo that will be your avatar when you post a comment in the blog.
Search
If you are trying to find a certain subject or locate an old post, you can use the Search box. You can search for a single word or a phrase.
