How often do you stop to think about how much God really loves you? Most of us believe God loves us but do we understand how much?
Today’s Verses:
1 John 3:1-3
Wow! Did you catch that? God has given us the right to become Children of God through the blood of Jesus! I absolutely love my children. I’m crazy about them. That love cannot even compare to the amount of love our God has for us. His love is not based on what we do for Him. His love for us isn’t determined by our performance. His love is 100% unconditional. That means no conditions, no strings attached. Just simple, untainted love. I’m not sure what you are going through today, but please know this…God is madly in love with you! Why don’t you spend some time right now thanking Him for all the ways He loves you and share with Him how much you love Him.

1. Have there been times when you felt like God did not love you?
2. Do you believe that your feelings can lie to you?
3. How has God shown His love to you recently?
4. How have you shown your love for God recently?
5. Who do you know that needs to hear about this love?
Wow is right! I’m one of those people who tend to take for granted all the love He has shown for me. It’s not always right where I can see it, so I tend to forget easily. Have there been times when I didn’t felt God’s love? Sure! But that wasn’t because it wasn’t there! It was because I was not looking in the right place…or because my heart was not right… Do I believe my feelings can lie to me? OMGoodness yes! In fact, I would bet that my feelings lie more than the are correct. I tend to believe what feels right at that moment. In fact, I’m struggling with that very lesson today. I thought one thing and learned another. But, this was just another lesson that God knew I needed to learn in order to put me back in my place. God has showen His love by letting me survive this week relatively unscathed! LOL! Just minimal heart damage…
My family is crashing around me with anger and health problems but God showed me that I am strong when I depend on Him and not on my own understanding. I’m one of those people who tend to try it my way first…. then go to God as a last resort. God shows His love in His patience as He waits for me to figure it out! I haven’t shown my love for God as much or as often as I should, period. My “flesh” gets in the way of that way too much. Another note-to-self…. something to work on….
I just thank God for the very fact that He cares enough to save me from myself! That I was WORTH it, even when I, and everyone else didn’t. HE put the right people in the right places at the right time…. just to bring me to HIM! How AWESOME is THAT?!?!?!? Boo-Yeah! And HE still uses the right people in the right ways and places to guide my hard-headed (I know…hard to believe right?? ) self back in the right direction! Thank you!!! —> They know who they are <— And they are the BEST! I love you guys… Thanks again for being my rock, my friends, and letting God use you to help me!
