What is your life verse? This is one verse in the Bible that you cling to. A verse that you have memorized and means a lot to your walk with the Lord.
My life verse
Romans 8:28 “And we know that in all things, God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.”
Reason
Let’s face it, sometimes life is hard. We do not understand why things have to happen to us. Why me? It is in those times that I cling to this verse. I love the Lord and my life is for His purpose, not mine. God will work everything out for the good. Sometimes that means that I have to go through the fire. Sometimes my faith must be stretched. But in the end, God’s goal for it is that I come out of the fire refined and purified.
So what’s your favorite verse and why?
My life verse is Phillipians 4:13, I can do everything through him who gives me strength. Its difficult sometimes to remember this. I have faced a few tough times in my life and I know that it was his strength not mine that saw me through.
If you do not already have a life verse I would challenge you to take on Mathew 6:34……………….34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. Too many times we get caught up worrying about things that have not even happened. Slow down, don’t worry, be happy!!!!!
My life verse is Phillipians 4:13, I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. I often try to lean on my human thoughts/actions and tend to forget that even with little things God wants to help us. Alot of things that we accomplish we think are of our own doing but forget that God paves the way and gives the insight for all we do – we just have to acknowledge it and ask him for it.

Colossians 3:15 Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.
It is always hard to find peace in our hearts and to be thankful so I’, going to live by this verse!
